ErgoLight Lab-Tester

A tool kit for detecting and classifying unexpected user events when operating MS-Windows applications, for use in usability labs, comprising:
  • A test manager, enabling the tester to specify the test plan, comprising test scenarios and the GUI controls that implement the scenarios.
  • A dll enabling to capture the GUI controls at setup and at test time
  • An observer’s unit, enabling the observer to enter the observed user intention and to save the observations, with time stamps
  • An activity recorder, for creating a record of the time stamped user activity.
  • A test analyzer, enabling matching the user activity to the observations.

  • Analysis of the user action by reference to operational procedures
